2010 Flu Shot Clinics

The clinics, below, provide seasonal flu vaccinations.

  1. (DC) Iona Senior Services will have walk-in flu shot clinics on 10/19 (10am-1pm) at our St. Albans location, 11/4 (10am-2pm) at our main site, and 11/16 (1oam-2pm) at our main site.  For more information, call 202-895-9448.
  2. (VA) – Flu shot clinics will be held 10/12 (5pm-7pm) and 10/16 (10am-2pm) at 4001 Barker Court in Fairfax.  For more information, call 703-503-8703.

  1. Virginia state’s cooling assistance program provides financial assistance to certain low-income senior residents to help pay cooling expenses.
  2. Free fans are available to certain l0w-income senior residents through the Fan Care Program.

  1. Maryland state’s Electrical Universal Service Program helps certain low-income residents with their electric bills.
  2. Prince George’s  County cooling centers: During heat emergencies, the county opens cooling centers for county residents.  For more information, call 301-265-8450.
